Gail M. D’Angelo, Administrative Vice President and Regional CRA Manager for M & T Bank, is responsible for compliance with the Community Reinvestment Act across the bank’s Pennsylvania footprint as well as helping to direct more than $3.5 million in charitable contributions and tax credit payments throughout the bank’s seven Pennsylvania regions. Gail also supports internal volunteer efforts such as the Women’s Interest Network (WIN) resource group, African American Resource Group (AARG) and the Next Steps Forward Committee (a deeper understanding of social justice and the bank’s diversity, inclusion and belonging focus) as well as serves on the boards of Camp Curtin YMCA, Harrisburg; Junior Achievement of South Central PA, York; and the Pennsylvania State System of Higher Education Foundation, Harrisburg.

“With a focus on helping individuals and families of low and moderate income, I feel that my service on the PASSHE Foundation Board provides an opportunity for me to advocate for people who may not see continuing education as an option. The PASSHE Foundation helps pave the way for access to education for ALL individuals with a clear understanding that higher education is a pathway to self-sufficiency that aligns very nicely with my professional (and personal) life and is a true value add for me.”
